About Michael:
Michael joined ICJA in 1990 when he began working in Community Corrections, as he wanted to know what other states and countries were doing in this field. Michael has over 30 years of experience working in Corrections. He has been a Warden at several prisons in Ohio, Assistant Director of Corrections in Ohio, and Director of Corrections in Illinois before he began in Community Corrections at Oriana House Inc.
“ICJA provides me an opportunity to collaborate with colleagues across the country and internationally on the challenges and opportunities related to Community Justice. Through ICJA’s collective voice we are able to advocate for changes that improve the lives of the people we serve.”
Looking forward…
Michael looks forward to working with other practitioners to advocate for policies based on research and best practices.
